The company has sales offices in 27 countries.We are looking for Software Application Engineer to join our Application Team in Vacon Drives Finland. Our products can be tailored for many purposes with application software. This is one of Vacon?s strategic choices. For instance, Vacon is among the first AC drive manufacturers to choose to put PLC inside the AC drive. A customer-oriented team, the Application team is in charge of all application software development for our main products and customer-specific application products in different segments such as elevators, cranes, marine, renewable energy and pulp & paper.Your task will be customer-specific and standard application development. You will be programming Vacon AC drives with the Vacon NC61131-3 Engineering tool. Software application engineering involves planning, designing and testing of the software. You will also give software-related technical support worldwide.To succeed in this position, you have an appropriate technical degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) and a good knowledge of AC drives.
