This is your chance to join the world leader in diabetes care and put your personal mark on R&D projects with the powerful potential to lift the quality of life for millions of people around the world. With the creation of the Oral Protein Formulation Unit (OPF), Novo Nordisk is starting its voyage towards the development and production of oral formulations of proteins for early clinical trials. Our ambition is to develop break-through products with orally available versions of insulin and GLP-1. You will be involved in CMC activities for production of Solid Dosage Forms of protein formulations for early clinical trials covering pilot process development, scaling up, pilot production and process control. We are looking for 2 new Technicians.From development to clinical trial productWorking in a growing research and development unit with a variety of different activities, you will participate in oral process technology build up, scale up, optimisation and documentation of production processes for Solid Dosage Forms of protein formulations for early clinical trial. Our goal is to become first-rate within mixing, granulation, compression, coating and capsulation, and you will play a key role in this context. Spanning day-to-day production, your primary job tasks will include hands-on production of the Solid Dosage Forms for early clinical trials, preparation of master batch records, process development and troubleshooting. This involves start-up of new equipment and processes. For each new campaign, you will produce a new product with related instructions, so you can expect ample challenges in relation to, among other things, process development and production preparation.Several years of experience with Solid Dosage FormsYou have an education as a Laboratory Technician or Bioanalyst or the equivalent. At least 3 years of experience working with the production of Solid Dosage Forms and GMP has given you a strong sense of quality and technical knowledge. As no two days will be alike, you must thrive in a dynamic environment and be able to plan and prioritise your tasks. Lastly, as process documentation is a key task, it is essential that you are skilled in written communication. On a personal level, you thrive in a flexible position where no two days are alike, and you adjust easily to changes. You have a very thorough and structured approach and keep a constant focus on quality. Moreover, you enjoy an informal environment where you work closely in teams, and where you use your initiative to seek out challenges of your own.
