Competence profile:
Analyze the OSS trend of next generation OSS & Services Platforms and guide the business plan in FMC network management across domains as Wireless, Datacom, Optical, Access and Core Network. You are able to analyze the various OM field integration requirements and to create and synthesize various field solutions. You can specify system components and direct the engineers during the system design work . You are creative and skilled and have the necessary experience in the OSS & Services field to steer innovative teams.
Qualifications:
• At least 8 years of experience of telecom network operation or experience of working in operation support project (network subscribers > 100,000) for major telecom carrier (DT, Vodafone, Telefonica, VDF, TI, KPN and so on).
• Thorough overview of at least one of the Major Telecom Carrier’s Operation Support System (not theoretical, but actual, as detailed as possible), can clearly explain system by history stages dimension, network domain dimension, business dimension and so on. Have wide NMS/OSS knowledge of other major carriers (benchmark).
• Familiar with or capable of at least one of the domains below.
- ALL IP FMC Network O&M.
- ALL IP visualized O&M.
-Fault location, troubleshooting, speeding up technologies and solutions.
-Potential business chances in Value Adding Services of O&M, e.g. network optimization system.
• Have good relationship with telecom carriers or have the experience of NMS/OSS solutions and projects.
• Understand the Telecom carriers OSS stages, requirements and expectations.
• Familiarity with knowledge of NMS, OSS/BSS, TMN, NGOSS and eTOM.
• Strong interest and knowledge about industry trends and roadmap of future technologies.
• Familiarity with the network knowledge of at least one of the domains: Wireless, Datacom, Optical, Access and Core Network.
• Familiarity with the EMS/NMS and OSS deployment strategy and solutions of the major telecom carriers in Europe or America.
• Participated in OSS standard committees: e.g. TMF, 3GPP, ITUT Familiarity of specification of them.
• Ability to work, write, and speak publicly in English
• Excellent Communication skills.
