As part of the very dynamic AD&QC organization, the Analytical development department supports all stages of development and incorporates the sections pre-formulation and analytical development. Further we act as consultants in terms of API chemistry. To strengthen our Early Phase business, we seek a creative, intelligent, self-motivated and passionate Early Phase Development Scientist, who thrives working on a collaborative team and is committed to making a significant difference in a global company.
Key Responsibilities To initiate, develop, plan, lead and carry out work programs to effectively support early phase development To provide technical, scientific and regulatory leadership needed to develop new/improve existing methods, products and processes Where appropriate develop, revise and implement standards and systems To be responsible for allocated jobs concerned with facilitating the smooth running of the departments such as responsibility for equipment items, safety, standards, and systems Represent the department on Project matrix teams Keep accurate records, write reports and generate appropriate documentation To work in safe and effective manner adhering to safe working practices and procedures
Qualifications MSc/PhD in chemistry or related area Solid background in early phase analytical development and pre-formulation Excellence in method development and solid background in physical/physic-chemical characterization Good understanding of regulatory requirements from an analytical perspective. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Successful multitasking across multiple projects and the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities Strong capabilities in problem assessment and resolution Visionary – must be fairly visionary and able to see the bigger picture Self motivated – must be self motivated and able to motivate others
