At FOSS we are in the process of developing one of the most complex products in the history of the company. The project includes a large number of technical areas and involves customers in all our key markets. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced people manager who can drive this development process.
The job
Business & Product Development is a highly prioritized area in FOSS, and Hardware de-velopment is one of 6 teams in the B&P Department.
With report to the Senior Manager in Team Hardware Development, you will be respon-sible for a group of 9, highly skilled, employees with different technical backgrounds. You will hold your own team budget and be responsible for:
Project Management on one of the most complex projects in FOSS – Including Motivation and guidance of project team members
People Management – Including coaching and competence development of team and individual team members.
You will be situated in Hillerød, with approximately 10-20 travelling days a year.
Qualifications
We imagine that you have a background as an engineer or similar, having gained some of your practical experience from instrument development. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager.
You are driven by a natural interest in technical issues and problem solving, combined with a strong focus on the overall perspectives of the project/process.
Experience with line management, as well as with outsourced development (China) will be considered an advantage.
You are result oriented, flexible and have a strong, personal drive.
